Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Luxembourg Q1 2025

The first quarter of 2025 saw varied performance trends among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Luxembourg. Here's a closer look at the metrics for each app based on data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 687 in early January and dipping to a low of 296 in mid-February. However, downloads picked up again, closing the quarter at around 584. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, with numbers peaking at 2.5K in mid-January and ending the quarter with about 2.3K users.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery saw a steady start with weekly downloads around 322 in early January, reaching a peak of 733 later in the month. The quarter ended with downloads dropping to 169. Active users increased significantly in January, peaking at 11.3K by the end of the month, maintaining a consistent level around 10K through March.

Uber - Request a ride showed stable download figures, beginning the quarter at 634 and ending with a slight increase to 576. Active user numbers remained robust throughout the quarter, starting at 15.3K and maintaining around 14K to 15K consistently.

Rapido: Bike-Taxi, Auto & Cabs had a moderate download trend, with numbers fluctuating between 245 and 449. Active users saw a slight increase, starting at 2K and peaking at 2.2K in March.

LetzRide Luxembourg began with 650 downloads, but experienced a decline, reaching a low of 177 by late January. Despite this, downloads saw a modest recovery, closing the quarter at 228.
